Thank you all for your sweet responses to yesterday's post. It is good to know I'm not alone.
I am super excited for today means I only have two more days of work until my TEN {count 'em ten} days of vacation.
Of course this vacation coincides with my aforementioned family reunion.
Although the previous post may not have conveyed this properly at all, I am excited about it.
We now have 35 people coming that we haven't seen in at least 8 years. A couple of people we haven't seen in almost 18 years. Woah. My grandparents have absolutely no idea that we are planning anything.
I just hope we have medical personnel on the sidelines for when my 90 year old grandparents get these surprises. I'm not sure my heart will be able to handle it, much less theirs.
I do have a few other things planned for my vacation besides family fun.
*I'm getting my hair done.
*I'm getting a mani/pedi.
*My mom and I are getting massages. Shhh...it's a surprise!
*I plan on doing a little shopping.
*Going to see Wicked at the Orpheum!
*Going to see fireworks!
*Laying by{and in} the pool!
We still have a few last minute details to take care of for the reunion.
*Finalizing the welcome bags. {They are mostly done.}
*Delivering said welcome bags to the hotels.
*Finishing the slideshow for the program.
*Picking up the absolutely humongous cake.
*Coordinating airport pickups.
It's going to be a busy vacation.
I'm afraid I'll need a vacation from a vacation when it's all said and done!

Girl..... you so need a vaca and I'm excited for you. I hope everything turns out without a hitch and have a great time with your family.
And you know what, that vacation you'll need after your vacation is can be straight to Florida, and if it happens to be where I'm at, then I'd be a happy girl!! :)
